Rebecca started working for the University of Edinburgh in 2005 and in 2006 she founded the University’s student enterprise support programme, LAUNCH.ed, which she managed until 2012. During this time, the programme advised over 550 student entrepreneurs, and helped 110 new student businesses start up. She is currently working part-time as Business Manager of the Enterprise Development team, focusing on marketing, mentoring, enterprise workshops, client management systems and ad-hoc projects.
Rebecca has seven years of commercial experience in direct marketing and soft drinks brand management. She is a Chartered Marketer and member of the CIM, and has a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma. She holds a Law and Business first degree and a Master’s degree in Marketing, focusing on market research for high-tech start-ups.
