Speed networking will also take place for 30 – 40 minutes, and there will then be an opportunity for more informal networking over a glass of wine and mince pie!

Event: Visiting Professor Marco Protano from New York on Building Your Brand

Building Your Brand
Wednesday, 25th April 2012
18:30 – 20:30
Business School, 29 Buccleuch Place

Marco Protano is a visiting professor of Marketing, who is coming to Edinburgh this week from New York to teach the Business to Business MBA Marketing course.

In this talk at the Entrepreneurship Club, Marco will provide insights into building your brand. For any entrepreneur, building your brand is key to business success – something that can be easily overlooked by more immediate concerns of financing and product development. Your brand is much more than just a logo. It’s a strategic statement or set of statements that encompass who your company is, what it does, how it plans to succeed, and why it’s unique or different. Branding covers your mission, identity, value proposition, tagline and brand story.
