Practical Advice for Freelancing

Thinking of becoming a freelancer? Already freelancing and want to make sure you are on the right track? Come along to this workshop where we will discuss what a freelancer is and how to develop as one, including advice on getting legal, developing a brand, getting paid and how to access support and help.
We’ll be joined by experienced guest freelancer and ECA professor Jessamy Kelly who will be sharing her experience.
This workshop is tailored towards students at ECA, however all students and recent alumni of the University of Edinburgh interested in or already engaging in freelance work are welcome.
