Startup Summer Accelerator – application deadline
March 11 @ 9:00 AM - 9:01 AM
We have teamed up with Santander Universities to bring you the Startup Summer Accelerator. This 12-week programme will help any early-stage and potential startups increase their chances of launching.
Learning how to startup is one of the best summer jobs you can have.
Receive £3,000 in funding while you learn what it takes to manage your own business or social enterprise. Develop your skills and enhance your CV. With regular workshops and weekly meetings you’ll learn market validation, product development, finances, pitching and digital marketing skills. There will be additional, optional workshops, such as resilience building and specialised sessions focusing on social enterprises and high growth enterprises.
“I would recommend this programme to anyone who wants to give a boost to their business or understand how the business world works.”
Successful applicants will also receive expert mentorship and coaching, peer to peer sessions, and gain industry insight through weekly events featuring top entrepreneurs and investors from Edinburgh’s startup community.
All previous participants have benefitted from the programme with some greatly benefitting. Lorn Jean received a permanent installation in the National Museum of Scotland, ThisThat secured their first investment and Lilypads shipped their first product.
