Startup Summer Entrepreneurship Programme | LAUNCH.ed

We have teamed up with Santander to bring you the Startup Summer Entrepreneurship Programme! This 12-week programme will help early-stage potential startups increase their chances of launching.

Learning how to start your business or social enterprise is one of the best summer jobs you can have. You get to be your own boss while learning what it takes to manage a business. Market validation, product development, finances, pitching and networking are just a few of the highly useful skills you’ll develop.

Successful applicants will receive expert mentorship and coaching as well as hot-desk space. Learn through weekly workshops and gain industry insight through weekly events featuring top entrepreneurs and investors from Edinburgh’s startup community.

 

Award amount

Maximum award: £3,000

Successful applicants will receive:

  • £1,000 up front to help with startup costs
  • £1,000 at the end of the first month after showing progress
  • £1,000 at the end of the second month after showing progress

 

Eligibility

  • You must be a current study of the University of Edinburgh or graduates within the last two years.
  • Can dedicate 40 hours a week to your business
  • Exhibit enthusiasm for working on a startup idea
  • Be able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
