Win tickets for Vloggers 101 workshop

We are giving four lucky University of Edinburgh students and recent graduates free tickets for an Introduction to Vlogging 101 event by the Edinburgh Bloggers Conference held on 7th December.

This workshop would usually cost £31 and is an evening focused on all areas of what it takes to be a top vlogger. You’ll get the chance to practise vlogging with support from experienced vloggers and special guests. Listen to and meet four experienced speakers from the industry and do a bit of networking. Entrance to the after party at Lulu’s is also included in your ticket!

Social Storm

The University of Edinburgh is taking part in Social Storm 2017 with the help of the Careers Service and LAUNCH.ed!

This 24 hour event is for current students who believe they can make a difference to society. You will work in teams with students from other universities to find a sustainable solution to a real-life problem and submitting a video pitch to a team of judges.

Over 200 students from 15 universities around the world will take part trying to tackle global issues and make a difference to our society.

3 Day Startup November 2017

Edinburgh University’s student start-up service; LAUNCH.ed held its annual 3 Day Startup programme this weekend.

Debuted at the University of Texas in 2008 the LAUNCH.ed team hold a license to host their own 3DS. The mission is to activate entrepreneurial potential in students of all kinds through experiential education and a global entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The programme is run across 30 countries around the world, 134 companies have been launched by 3DS alumni and $131.3 million raised by alumni.
